Wrestling with a new System…

Forgive the hiccups as I figure out how Substack works.

It appears that my first post, “Coming Soon…” was released prematurely when I first tried to “save” it. It’s only now ready to read. I apologize if it popped up in your inbox a few days ago and wasted your time trying to follow an early draft.

While we’re here…, I intend to begin here by re-editing and re-releasing essays originally posted on Navigating the Tangible. These will most likely be interspersed with new pieces as they come to me.

I also hope to be able to incorporate material from all my varying endeavors and create a place here where it is all available. As the Cape Cod boatbuilder and designer Pete Culler said, “Experience starts when you begin!”

What he left unsaid was that errors always creep in and it is our responsibility to take the time to ensure what finally leaves the “shop” is as well made as it can be.
